It is more than a kilometre of dwellings and terraces cut into the rock where prehistoric man lived.
This rock then became a fortified castle and later a medieval city. It is the only troglodytic site in the world, both for its history and for its beauty and conservation.
The site offers activities for children in groups, such as guided tours or an archaeological excavation workshop, so that they can discover the site in a fun and creative way.
